Who we are
Sichem SDA Church is a Haitian American Seventh-day Adventist community centered on Jesus and the hope He offers. As part of the global Adventist movement, we value faith, fellowship, and service to others. Our diverse congregation speaks English, Creole, and French, creating a space where everyone feels at home and supported in their spiritual journey. At Sichem SDA, we are a community shaped by the hope and purpose we’ve found in Jesus Christ, and we’re dedicated to sharing that hope with everyone we meet.
Where we come from
Sichem SDA began in 1994, founded by a dedicated group of Haitian immigrants. With a vision of creating a welcoming and inclusive church, they started meeting in the living rooms of various members, building a foundation of love, unity, and service. From those humble beginnings, our church has grown into a spiritual home for many, while staying true to our mission of being a place where everyone has a seat at the table.
Where we’re headed
Our mission is clear: Sichem SDA is dedicated to building a family grounded in hope—hope for a brighter future, hope for growth, and hope in Jesus. As we look ahead, we remain committed to fostering a sense of belonging, living out our faith through service, love, and discipleship. Together, we strive to reflect Christ’s character in everything we do.
